MINKE WHALE
These are solitary mammals. The minke whale is very curious. It can travel at 27 km/h, but usually it goes around 8 to 11 km/h. At birth they may be 6 feet in length.
- Length : 20-30 feet
- Weight : 8 tons (metric)
- Color : gray to black
- Baleen : 300-320 on each side
Look carefully :
- invisible spume from blow-hole ;
- Color of the whale ;
- The shape of the dorsal fin.
